Fjordgård is located 55 km from Finnsnes, which in turn is close to Bardufoss Airport. If you need a ride from the airport, send a message to the organizer. If you come by car from Tromsø, it is easiest to take the ferry from Brensholmen to Botnhamn. Botnhamn is about a 15 minutes drive from Fjordgård. We recommend people to park at the finish line and use the boat ride from Husøy to Fjordgård.
There is a luggage truck from Fjordgård to Husøy, and all participants can send a bag back to the start (maximum 90 liters). If you have special needs for food / drink, this can be handed in to the organizer at 0830 on Saturday morning. It will be handed out at Daven.

The trail starts at Fjordgård Samfunnshus. And you run on a good path up on the "instagram mountain", Segla.
Then there is a slight descent towards Heia. The descent is steep and has some rocks, so it can be an advantage to take it easy here. Then you follow the trail away and up to Barden.
At Barden it is flat and easy to run. The descent from Barden to Daven can be a bit of a challenging descent. After Daven comes the longest and perhaps steepest climb of the race. This climb takes you up to Grytetippen, if the weather is good you should take the time to be photographed here before you run on to Keipen. It is a short distance to Keipen. The last hundred meters up and down from Keipen is the race's most uneven terrain, ie it is almost a small scree. Well down from the scree you are going up on snow, over on the ridge to Skarelvfjellet. These are the fastest parts of a trail.
On the eastern end of Skarelvfjellet, the trail turns north, down Keipelven. After a short and steep climb you are up on Tarbergkollen and you can notice that you are approaching Husøy, since you can see Ørnfjorden. The last descent from Tarbergkollen is on snow. If you think it is too steep, it is possible to run on the side. Down from the snow part, the route carries over the national road and out towards Riven. Riven is the last peak. From here it is a quick descent towards Husa, and you follow the road into Husøy and the finish line.
